Thanksgiving Electrical Tips

With Thanksgiving being tomorrow, the NFPA reminds us of important safety tips to keep in mind during this special day of thank! 
1. Be sure electric cords from an electric knife, coffee maker, plate warmer or mixer are not dangling off the counter within easy reach of a child.
2. Make sure your smoke alarms are working. Test them by pushing the test button.

Now that the Holidays are approaching, it is important to follow some of the following electrical tips to make the Holidays safe and fun for all: 
1. Always purchase electrical decorations and lights from reputable retailers.
2. Never connect more than three strands of incandescent lights together.
3. Before decorating, determine how many outlets are available and where they are located. Plan your displays accordingly.
